Cold calling is a form of telemarketing, a method of direct marketing. Telemarketers are employed by various companies to place calls to solicit customers. This is referred to as cold calling. When placing calls, the telemarketer introduces new products or services to potential customers and initiates the sale of a product or service.

Know why you’re calling. Targeted outreach means recruiters can use data to determine whether who they’re calling would likely invite a call from them.
